Whistle Stop Scotland - Loch Lomond

So even with the terrorist threat in the UK and being delayed 1h30 we landed in Edinburgh on Thursday evening, met Pamela and her mom and drove through to Glasgow. We had a great supper at a Scottish restaurant and had our first taste of haggis ;o) Had some great cocktails and went dancing for a bit ... before heading off to bed.

Friday started our first day of a whistle stop tour of Scotland, so will be breaking the tour into bite size chunks. Our first stop was Loch Lomond ... All I can say is wow ... it was amazing everthing is green and it looks so peaceful ... here are some of the photos I took while we where there.

The first pic is of Hendrik and me and the second one is of Pamela (our flatmate) and her friend Joanne.

I also managed to put together some great pano's

This little island is called Tarbert Isle

More photo's on Scotland tomorrow ...

What a beautiful place. I really like the spindly trees.
