Beyond the East, the sunrise, Beyond the West, the sea, and East and West the wanderlust that will not let me be. -Gerald Gould
Well it's a traddition that if someone who has been at the aquarium for a while leaves ... they either get pushed or have to jump into the Atlantic tank. And Nicci was leaving
Well the some stats the Atlantic tank is between 10-13 degrees Celsius ... so pretty cold even on a good day.

Lizzy Got a very wet hug ;o)
Then into the shower everyone went.
The rest of the photo's where all taken when we went out afterwards for Nicci's leaving do

These are some pics I took on Thursday while closing up.
This is our new baby parrotfish ... isn't he cute.
These are the terrapins ... they see any yellow or red shirt and they thinkit's food time so they will all pile against the glass.
As Christy and Sabrina is showing ;o)
Me in my pretty red uniform ;o) with Sabrina ...
Well it is usually a bit busy at the aquarium so the only time I really get to take photo's is at closing time but I'm not complaining it is usually the best time ... very quiet.

This is a photo of Cheeky our little Shortspine pufferfish ... doesnt he just have the most beautiful blue eyes.

Wel Femmie (I hope this is how you spel his name ... if not I apologise) is one of the guys that works in the aquarium ... and he breeds snakes ... so he brought some with him so we could see them ... now I have always been scared of touching snakes but these guys were really gentle and they felt completely different to what I was expecting.
The big one is called Nina. Lizzy was really looking like Medusa at one stage she had Nina around her shoulders and two of the babies in her hair moving around her ponytail.
