Bye bye Nicci

Well it's a traddition that if someone who has been at the aquarium for a while leaves ... they either get pushed or have to jump into the Atlantic tank. And Nicci was leaving

Well the some stats the Atlantic tank is between 10-13 degrees Celsius ... so pretty cold even on a good day.






James and Christie aslo made a turn into the pool.






Lizzy Got a very wet hug ;o)

Then into the shower everyone went.

The madness of Closing up

These are some pics I took on Thursday while closing up.

These are the terrapins ... they see any yellow or red shirt and they thinkit's food time so they will all pile against the glass. As Christy and Sabrina is showing ;o)

Hello ... My name is Bruce

Parental care

I took these two photo's of a male clownfish in the aquarium. The red stuff on the rock is some eggs that the female laid and he was responsible for keeping them oxygenated. So he will move from his anemone and wave his little fin over them to keep the water moving so they get more oxygen. He was so cute so I decided to put them in here.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELIZABETH!!!!

Today was Lizzy's Birthday, so Anna made cupcakes specially ... really good cupcakes. On the left is Liz and Elizabeth.

Closing Time

Well it is usually a bit busy at the aquarium so the only time I really get to take photo's is at closing time but I'm not complaining it is usually the best time ... very quiet.

This photo is of Sabrina and Elizabeth ... dont they look cute in their yellow staff outfits?
